Gold and Diamond Ring

Gold and diamond ring size 6.5. Unique setting, gold is 18 k, diamond is miner cut antique (hand cut), approx. half a carat. Jeweler says to measure exactly, it would have to be removed from the setting. It has maker's stamp on outside of band, a wolf head and something else. I'm told it is old (hand cut) and European, probably French. Poshmark concierge service will authenticate items over $500.
