Your Manufactorer must be false advertising because a rope chain of that width and length would have at least 2 grams of solid gold. Market value for 2 grams of 14k gold would be $46. What's the weight of the chain your selling?

These specific chains are around 15-25 grams. That number may be off though since I haven't weighed them in a while. Thanks for the info though.

toppointbling @yrnegro It can handle water exposure unlike regular plating, but I do not recommend wearing it in the shower or swimming with it on. I say this to ensure that your chain lasts between 3-5 years plus. I've ran hot water over the chain for 5 minutes, and no sign of fading or tarnishing occurred.

toppointbling @brochaus14 it’s 14k gold layered it’s a layer of real 14k gold over brass it is not solid 14k gold. It’s like a high quality plating just multiple times.

toppointbling @lehnjay it can last a very long time as long as water exposure is limited and it is taken care of. Excessive water exposure will cause the layer of 14k gold to fade and deteriorate.
