sjburwin @juliemco do you mean 12’ (feet) or 12” (inches) The tree pictured is approximately 5 feet tall. I would say the most important factor would be how wide your tree trunk is. Mine is artificial, obviously, and only has a stick about an inch wide and it was hard to keep it stable in there. If you had a larger stem it would be more stable. The opening for the trunk is about 5 inches in diameter.
