Goldtone wreath style necklace with hinged ends

A striking and substantial goldtone neckpiece, with hinged ends to put it on. It is heavy and in good condition. There are a few nicks from wear but do not detract from the wearability. The style suggests 1980s but the style is really timeless. The inner dimension is only about 4 inches and the hinges only allow for about 4.5 inches opening to slip on your neck. It is close fitting. My neck is approximately 12 inches in diameter and the picture shows you where it sits on me. It is definitely made for a smaller neck. On one end, there appears to be a marking of some kind but I cannot make it out. It is simple but makes a statement.
