I think this is second gen.This smart speaker is great for any room. It gets really loud which is useful for the main area. I used this as a Bluetooth speaker for music, timer/alarm, & radio. Recommended for people with small spaces like an apartment because you can get a lot more use out of it, but you can get plenty of use out of this in a bedroom too. Had this for ~7 months, comes with box and original packaging + instructions. Only flaw is a speck of paint which doesn't affect the function.
