I’m wondering if I could cut the buttons off to wear as a jacket. Could you show me the underside of the button how it adheres to the fabric? I wouldn’t want to have holes show from the thread...

@bluebirdshop Yes, of course, I understand what you mean. I've taken the pictures and will add them to the listing in a few minutes. The buttons are fabric covered and then sewn to the jacket with matching thread. It looks to me as if what you want could be done. It's so well-made, the opposite side has a really well-tailored placket that the buttons are attached to.
