Gorgeous Gripoix Type Amethyst Melon Glass Beads, Pearls and Rondells Necklace

Very high end costume jewel in the Jewels of India style, the necklace has three sets of melon type glass stones imitating amethysts on either side, placed between French rondelles and detailed gold plated fittings. These are strung between lovely large glass pearls, all hand knotted. This jewel is very French, very Deco in style. The glass beads are larger and heavier; each one hand knotted. A gorgeous jewel that I'm happy to keep but I never had a chance to wear it, so I'm offering it for sale. It is unsigned to the maker or the date. The necklace does not have a clasp, it merely goes over the head and is to be worn with the purple glass beads to sit on either side. A very well made necklace of high quality, non precious materials that were made to look like genuine stones. Please see photos for approximate measurements and details.
