Strap on the right isn't attached with original hardware but I do have the original piece( see photos) Inside looks pretty good other than needing to be wiped out.

mthreads Can't believe you're selling it ... I know just what you mean ! They just don't make them like they used to! I love all of my moms that are vintage and use them way more than ones I have that are new. Congrats though for letting go of it ... There's no way that's easy!!! mthreads One of my moms old purses (similar boxy style w a shoulder strap) had to have the hardware on the strap replaced recently .... She just bought a new strap but it doesn't match the purse like the original ... I mean it matches and is LV but it's just different. Man I wish you were here bc we could literally walk on over to LV now!

lvaddict947 The trademark LV logo on the front is a stamp of replicas, I will include the link below, they have been making replicas since the 70s,most people think they are vintage because they are made of real leather and patina but all the other details are not to par. Feel free to pay for a certificate or attempt to get a service done at Louis Vuitton such as repair or hot stamping. brandilynch @lvaddict947 I thought that was only the case if it was the leather patch, because I know the leather patch is definitely a telltale sign it is a fake vintage. Hers is actually stamped on the purse.

Plain leather patches on the front of items are present on Vintage French Company items, they may also have initials personalized into them-this further increases the chance of being authentic. The trademark stamp present on this bag, on the front or inside is an indication of a replica item. If you read the literature it clarifies. Some of the newer replicas can only be differentiated by looking at font discrepancies.

lvaddict947 I would like to know who told you that. I have four authenticators for tradesy and eBay that state it's a replica. Louis Vuitton associates don't authenticate bags, they are not trained to. If you'd like an official word you can email memes treasures, she's a trusted authenticator and for a nominal fee she will give you an answer within 10 minutes.

lvaddict947 In addition to the stamp, the canvas is cut in several places and not symetrical, even on the earliest pieces Louis Vuitton has built their reputation on perfection. Uneven canvas amd asymetry is not their standard. This bag is 100% a replica and I would like the name of who said otherwise.
