simplyrtw I was a curvy 12- 14 and it fit my fine. I've lost weight - and am now a 8-10 and I liked it better on me when I was larger. More for fitting. Hope that helps!

It will not be looser in the waist area if you're larger than an 8. However, it will still look great! It's such a beautiful coat.
