Gorgeous Vintage 80’s Formal Gown Golden Girls Pink Dress Sz 8/10/12

Picture Rose Nylan, or maybe Blanche headed out for an evening of drinks and dancing. This is an authentic 80s gown in excellent condition including flawless sequin-flowers. The color is difficult to capture on film, but I would call it a delicate rose blush pink, in the classic definition of blue-pink, not in the gray or peach family. I acquired this gown as part of an estate in the sophisticated water-front area of St. Joseph, MI, and it has survived 40 years beautifully…it can be yours for many years to come. The skirt has a silky under layer that makes for fabulous twirling (see photo.). The bodice is lined with a second layer of the outer fabric, and the sleeves are one layer only which makes them semi-sheer. Difficult to detect pinpoint mark on 1 sleeve and minor pull that disappears in the graceful folds of the skirt (see pics) Length from top of back neckline to hem: 47 inches Length of Satin Belt: 1st button: 32 inches 2nd button 34.5 (see photo) Waist at rest: 28 inches with several inches extra possible because of stretchy elastic.
