kimsbotique @lilydluna a lot of the old dress and shoe clips do look similar. The dress clips have longer clips and if they have teeth they're not as severe. But this is definitely a dress clip. 😊

kimsbotique @nylarej hi! A dress Clip came in pairs. But could be worn singly. The were used to change the neckline of a dress Most dees makers use to make all necklines round. The dress clips could then convert the dress to have a square neckline or v-neck. I have to check the spring on this particular clip to see if it would work as a money clip. They were made as to not damage the cloth it was used on, so more than likely,it wouldn't be secure enough for money. But I'll check and get back to you. 😊
