Gorgeous hand made artisan tote bag with hand stitched elephant and wave…

I’m so overjoyed to sell this to someone that will really use this bag. It is so beautiful and hand made and unique that it needs to be seen and worn and appreciated. I bought this in DC at a vintage little shop back in probably 2009? I wore it a lot when i first got it but i noticed the stitching broke away from the lining on one side of the strap (see photos) and i put it away to mend it and then forgot about it for years. it’s still in pristine condition. It’s got a mesh lining and a velvet overlay with handstitched sequins all over. Something i always liked was when you shake the bag you can hear the excess sequins that the maker left on the interior of the bag under the insert shake around making this really soothing easy to miss handmade sound, idk i really like that lol bag can be worn over shoulder or cross body and is pretty large you could fit some books or a bungee and a coat or jacket in it no problem. it’s a drawstring closure. perfect for an earthy, boho, hippie goddess ✨ 🐘 🌊
