This is, by far, the coolest thing in my closet, but as you can tell from the fact that it is NWT, the evening for which this was planned did not come to fruition. Yes, it was a Panic! At the Disco concert. No, I’ll never get over it. So this jacket has amazing details — the fabric is a black-on-black damask, with lace extended sleeves at the cuff and a lace collar, with lace lining the tails as well. Back has a satin ribbon lacing like a corset. Dangly beading detail around the front and both shoulders. Four buttons close the double-breasted front, and the open chest looks unbelievable over a corset or bodysuit. Or you could wear a ruffle blouse and just really lean in to the whole gothic vampire vibe. Fits beautifully — I have broad-ish shoulders and a narrow ribcage (34 bra band) and this fit perfectly (it is marked as a size 10 and I would typically be an 8 in a blazer).
