Whimsical, bohemian Grace Loves Lace “Verdelle 2.0” wedding dress size medium. Tailored so it fits closer a size 4/6 although the material is very forgiving. There are marks along the hem along with a few small stains on the inside bottom as pictured.

jascleo Hi! Can I get the exact measurements of what the dress was tailored to? How tall are you and was it tailored for wearing heels? If so, how high of a heel? Thanks!

melissa_toner @jascleo the seamstress took an inch in at the waist and hemmed a few inches from the bottom. The current length of the dress measures 56”. My height is 5’6” and I wore 1.5” heels with the dress. It’s a stretchy dress so I could see it being worn by a range of body types. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

I was also interested in the bust, waist, and hips measurements (I know you mention it fits "closer to a size 4/6", but it would be really helpful to know specifics, and the size range chart in your posting only shows sizes "XXS/XS/S"). melissa_toner @jascleo I measured the front of the dress from seam to seam if that makes sense. I also found a measurement guide from the Grace Loves Lace website I will link below if a screenshot doesn’t work. I will also note I am smaller on top than bottom and a size A cup. And I had A/B cups sewn in which can be removed. Measurements are as follows: Bust = 11” across Waist = 12” across Hips = 17” across

melissa_toner @jascleo I honestly think the dress would have looked better on someone with a fuller bust (fuller A, B or C) or that I had purchased fashion tape at my seamstresses recommendation to give me a little oomph and keep the dress in place at the bust.

jascleo Thank you so much, Melissa. Kind of crazy that I share the same body type AND height as you...I scheduled a dress appt at Anthro as soon as I could (Nov 5) with the purpose of trying on similar styles (deep/wide V-neck, bird/bat/flowy sleeves) so that I can get an idea of how they'll look on me & whether I'll be comfortable w/ such a deep/wide V (I haven't been able to find this style dress at the other stores I've been to so far). Hopefully this will still be available after I do my recon...

I’m not sure how they relate to a person’s measurements but I measured the front of the dress from side to side for each area. Length from top to bottom measures 56” and I wore 1.5” heels. melissa_toner @ashleyanders613 Stains are pictured. Along the hem there is staining from the dress hitting the ground and there is a stain on the inside of the dress (not visible when wearing) also pictured.
