earthmamahippy @bridgetknopick oh my goodness, I am so sorry!! I completely empathize, I had to put mine down on 3/6/19, also for cancer. I got a new pup last week to try and change my focus from grief to hope, but it's very hard to accept that she is not my old boy. I cannot bring myself to take down his pics from my profile or phone yet. He was 11.5yrs old and the gentlest big ol goofball.

earthmamahippy @bridgetknopick Now I'm living puppy life and things are VERY different but not necessarily in a bad way. The distraction helps. Also everytime I start tearing up and getting really sad, I think of his funny days or watch one of my silly videos of him and I have happy tears instead. Maybe that could help you a little? Much love to you in these hard times❤️ losing them is so painful but loving them was so worth it

We will soon rescue another dog but as you know the love of one can never be replaced by another. Such individuals they are. They are their own little people. earthmamahippy @bridgetknopick I’m so glad that helped you!! It really helps me too. And I know Rosie will send your next furry kid your way when the time is right. This pup was a little too soon for me, but the conditions she was living in were bad and I couldn’t walk away. She was a junkyard dog and has bite scars all over her neck and thigh.

earthmamahippy At 16 weeks, how can you already have scars?? Ugh. And the cage they had her stuffed in was filthy and it was just a bad bad bad situation. So I said ok, I guess I’m getting a new dog🙃 and I'm sure that Rosie and Rocky, my last dog, are romping around a field having a blast ❤️ hugs to you
