Grape color Blarney 100% Irish Merino Wool handmade in Ireland Fishermen Cable

This lovely Grape color purple sweater is handmade in Ireland. Is either dry cleaned or hand washed. A Fishermen's cable knit in the tradition of the wives of the isles that made these sweaters for their loved ones to be protected from the harsh elements. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in water while still keeping its wearer warm! The bulky honeycomb knit pattern created a loft for air to be caught and kept an air gap. These sweaters never go out of style and are a wardrobe basic. Care for them and they will last a lifetime. This one has been washed and is stabilized in size.
