Wholesome, morally inspiring autobiography written by Matthew McConaughey. I was given this book as a gift as this is a Launch Edition Copy, hence the holographic security measures. I will admit; I did not think this would be my type of read because I didn’t take Matthew McConaughey to have superb writing skills because that’s not what his career field is known for; boy, could I have not been more incorrect about my pre judgment. Once I started I couldn’t put it down; I read this book cover to cover; it was that good, and it made me cry several times throughout. I have a new found respect for Matthew McConaughey after reading his autobiography; not only did it make me emotional also, I cried several times throughout. To give you an idea of what type of book this is, I read it four times before recommending it to my mother, who equally fell in love with it. This particular copy was unavailable in the United States at the time of purchase & is a special edition pre launch copy. If you’re questioning it this book is for you, just read what others have to say about it. Even if you’re not a book person, this is was like reading one of my new favorite movies. Whoever buys this, make sure you recommend it to your friends and family, truly a book that makes you take a very introspected look at the soul. This book is in almost perfect condition & had been stored in a climate controlled library since acquiring it pre launch. •••
