Griswold Erie "Heart and Stars" No. 18 cast iron waffle iron on No. 88 base

Vintage Griswold Cast Iron Number 18 Heart & Star Waffle Iron on Tall Base with Bail Handle Patent dates of May 18, 1920 and July 11, 1922, placing the manufacture of this piece from early 1920s into the 1930s. Base stamped No 88 Patt 153 along with the Griswold info along the bottom rim. It does have nice coil handles and sits flat without any rocking. Length of waffle iron just under 17", width of base 12". Very good condition with some surface rust as can be seen in the photos. Parts have not been seasoned, I'm not a cast iron refinisher guru, don't want to damage the patina.
