A jeweled bracelet designed by Gubelin.
Gorgeous piece of jewelry created by the Gubelin house, in Zurich Switzerland, circa 1960. This unique bracelet was crafted in solid 18 karats yellow gold and is suited, with an integrated boxed push lock, with a figure 8 for extra security.
The craftmanship and the assembling are exceptional, realized by multiples links attached together by invisible pins.
Embellished with very fine natural gemstones. all of them are carefully calibrated and are described as follow;
prong set with 29 round brilliants cuts of natural Colombian green emeralds with a combined weight of 2.90 carats. They are completely transparent, with great vivid color saturation and not treated with oil.
Burnish set, with 87 round brilliants cut diamonds, 1.74 carats, E/F color, VS-1 clarity.
Have a weight of 33.6 grams and a length of 7 inches (20.7 cm).

The Gubelin house was founded in 1854 when Mauritz Breitschmid opened a watchmaker's shop on the Pfistergasse in Lucerne. a few years later, in 1861, Eduard Jakob Gübelin was born in eastern Switzerland. he subsequently moved to Lucerne and was apprenticed to the watchmaker Mauritz Breitschmid. The year 1886 marked a special occasion in the young watchmaker's life as Eduard Jakob Gübelin married bertha Sophia Breitschmid, the daughter of his old master.
