Gucci Horsebit Embellished Crystals Sunglasses w/Case

It was Aldo Gucci who in the 1950s decided to decontextualize the “bit” of the riding saddle and use it as a symbol of the Gucci brand. His father Guccio was deeply interested in the equestrian world. It seemed natural to honor him by reflected his equestrian heritage as well as his Italian elegance in the iconic Gucci design. This Horsebit design with crystals in the barrel is not an easy find. It is an elegant pairing of the iconic brand motif with elegant glamour. These are Tortoise dark brown, round, oversized frames and polarized, brown lenses in excellent preowned condition. Barely visible hairline scratches on lenses not interfering with vision sight & tiny nick on bottom of frame. Please note other marks are from lights reflecting on item. Gucci name etched on upper left lens and Gucci logo in gold tone on each of the arms on the frame. Authenticity certificate card and lens cloth included.
