Gunne Sax Dress by Jessica

Gunne Sax by Jessica, San Francisco Exquisite gown, possibly for cool weather bridal, 1970s ♡ Purchased in 2000 somewhere in Colorado. This was a collectors find, and only worn once. Cotton and polyester, crochet trim and ruffle detail. The cotton is overall, and the polyester is in the front quilted panels on the bust and at center front on the skirt, which is very cushioned and warm, and is also in the lower arm sleeves in the lining. Zips up center back with two sewn in sashes for making a bow in back. Small stains on the sash, as shown. No tears, or rips. Here it is on a size 8 dress form from 1982. This dress fits it like a glove though may render closer to a modern size 6. Measurements for the dress laying flat: Waist: 14 inches Sleeve: 27 inches from shoulder to wrist Pit to pit with cleavage opening closed: 15.5 inches Center front from lower neckline: Approximately 50 inches Center back: Approximately 52 inches The sleeves have zippers on the lower arm for a warm snug fit, making the upper sleeves puff a bit. Small stain on the bottom ruffle in the back. Not my doing, though have not attempted cleaning. The dress does have some minimal discoloration from age on the lower quilted sleeves, but overall good. I do recommend having it professionally cleaned for upkeep. It has been stored very carefully up til this point. Flexible to meet up instead of mail if you are in NYC ♡
