H&C Heinrich 'Moss Rose' Set of 4 Salad Plates

"Moss Rose" has a cream background in the coupe style. This has pink rosebuds. The mark was used from 1939 - 1999. Franz Heinrich started his porcelain painting business in Bavarian Selb in 1896. He constructed a mufffle kiln in his parent's house. Initially just one female worker was helping him. Five years later in 1901 he started producing own whiteware. Porzellanfabrik Heinrich Selb became one of the largest porcelain producers in Germany. Franz Heinrich died in 1928. In 1929 Heinrich & Co took over another Selb factory, Gräf & Krippner. In 1930s there were 500 employees in the Heinrich factory. No chips or cracks. 7 3/4"
