A composition full of life itself. Here are the trophy from the Saut Hermès, a cyclist’s medal, a racing car, a pair of skates, a golfer, a fencer… even a life-saving certificate. Dated 1895, the award belonged to Emile Hermès, who once saved three people from drowning by diving into the Seine. True to the philosophy of the house of Hermès, the carré celebrates every possible sport. Equestrian activities have a special place, of course, but any discipline that trains the body and stimulates the mind finds favour, too.
