This fabric has been crafted with meticulous precision to replicate the uniform texture of the faded vintage denim collected for the Kato archives. To make this a timeless pair of jeans, we chose our straight cut, “The Hammer” and the modern slim cut “The Pen”. The 12.5 ounce, 100% cotton denim does not have stretch but it will break in and mold to you, making it a pair you will want to wear for years. We wanted these jeans to be vintage down to the core details, so we introduced a button fly, using donut style laurel leaf buttons, which have been acid dyed to give them an authentic aged look. We also added a pop of color with a red leather patch, our own twist on the original. We are offering several versions of the Classic Slub Denim that represent different stages of aging. Lou - Natural Fade This wash emulates denim that has been worn for several years.
