WHERE OUR FOR FATHER CAME FROM TO START A NEW LIFE. 6 CANOES MADE THE JOUNEY ON THE OCEAN HIGHWAY, THE SAME WAY OUR ELDERS DID. OUR 6 PEOPLE WERE JOINED BY A CHIEF FROM OLD METLAKATLA AND MANY OTHERS . I WAS IN TEARS AS THE CANOES LANDED I HAD 2 NEPHEWS ON BOARD WHO MADE HISTORY!! IT WAS A DAY THAT BROUGHT OLD METLAKATLA AND NEW METLAKATLA TO ONE NATION . ENJOY

alaskagem @cvz15 took is way up North from me. I live in Southeast Alaska, I am a hour and half by jet away from Seattle . So we get Washington state weather. The last few weeks it has been in the 80's here but we have had morning and night fog. So the weather is changing . I hope you make it up here it is BEAUTIFUL IN THE SUMMER!! I don't recommend the winter unless you LOVE LOVE THE COLD LOL. I HATE THE COLD LOL ....GOD BLESS MY FRIEND...MARIA

cjulians Beautiful!!! It’s been a very long time, hope & pray all is well. I thought about you last week because my granddaughters school hosted its first formal ever and they made it open to the whole school, it was adorable, she is 1st grade. The school and area is under served and so limited and our current superintendent came back to his hometown after a long time in remote Alaska schools. Take care!
