RARE VINTAGE ROOKWOOD POTTERY 7" LILY VASE - LIGHT BROWN

Beautiful estate piece of Rookwood Pottery, stamped with the Rookwood mark, the mold # 6830, and the Roman numeral date "XLVI", which is 1946. This lovely 7" Lily" Vase is done with a gloss glaze that I would call light brown with a pinkish undertone. It measures approximately 7" high, the top opening is 3 1/4", the base is 2 7/8", and the vase is 5" across it's widest point. For being over 75 years old, this piece is in great condition, with no chips or cracks (there is a very tiny rough spot that can be felt along the top rim, which was done in manufacturing, but unless you feel it, you'd probably never see it). It does have all-over crazing, which is very common in older, glaze finished, pottery. When displayed, you won't notice this. Thank you for viewing my listing!
