Sarah Bowes-Lyon was born in England in 1920 and wrote and illustrated this book in 1933 at just 13 years of age. First published by J.M. Dent & Sons Ltd. in 1933, and reprinted twice in that same year. The text is all handwritten, and the illustrations are all hand done by the young author. No dust jacket. Tan colored cloth boards. Good condition with wear to the top and bottom of the cloth on the spine. A remarkable book by a remarkable young woman. This book would make a wonderful gift for any equestrian.
