Above is the gofund me I made for my husband Jeff who was struck by an uninsured driver here in Chicago in December and after battling with our insurance company and our personal injury lawyer we are officially needing some financial assistance. Even the smallest amount would mean the world. Starting Tuesday the 20th he will be undergoing a series of surgical procedures that will try to improve his major nerve damage with 2 clerical bulging discs in his neck, 2 in his shoulder and L4/L5 Separation in the back, that has now put him out of work, in consistent pain and just wanting his life back. I (his wife) is carrying the weight of our deductible and all bills. UPDATE FOR ALL THOSE ASKING QUESTIONS: I already went thru the correct sources and uploaded the flyer to posh support & this IS within the guidelines. ALSO: We have basic PIP insurance of our own. No comp/collision. And even with uninsured motorists being on there, everyone still has a deductible (which ours is the highest at $2500), so we have to pay that Out of Pocket, plus other copays and bills we are behind with.
