twigsanddreams @bubblegaming308 Hi Mary Alice. I’m sorry for the delayed reply. :x I think I lean toward costume type & quality. I’ve only ever finished & sealed 3 or 4 seams. Stuffed animals are fun. It’s decades now since I sewed like that. I made my girls’ costumes & batwing/legging sets for me in the 80s lol They’re super easy. I love uneven layers & snip/tack to make it the most comfortable. :D Thank you so much for this. You’re giving me wonderful introspection & inspiration <3 Have a fun day. Shirley

bubblegaming308 @twigsanddreams It looks like you have fantastic style!! My Mom & I were looking at a scarf today & figuring out how to make it work! She's the one with the skills! When I was young, she & I sewed on an antique pedal foot machine... we're not amish. I redesigning hand me downs for my family. I've always used the pedal foot. My Dad sold our perfectly working antique pedal foot to someone for $50!!!! I about came unglued! Now I have to learn to use a modern machine!

I say that when I'm dressed like my older sister would refuse to take me with her until I changed clothes when we were kids, then I know I'm wearing what I like lol That's so sad about your pedal machine! Mamma had my Granny's in her sewing area. She used it until she got an electric one... the old simple kind, & then used it to set that one on. I do wish that's what I still had. That's awesome, your redesign! I just love looking for the potential in things.
