Offering a HandMade "Poncho/Shawl!" It did have a tag that said "HandSewn In Japan," which my textile person told me it is "pre-war era" it's a great & versatile piece. So very pretty! The palate is plum/browns/creams & an orange-red that creates a floral motif. It's 40"L at the points with an additional 6"L of fringe! Enjoy & Posh-On!

@scarlettstained Hello Charlotte! I've been in Richmond, VA for the past 5 weeks & now in Sumter, SC for a week. My father was diagnosed with Leukemia 6 weeks ago & passed on Saturday. I haven't been on PM for over a month. This is truly the toughest time of my life & though my heart is full of love & the best of memories, I have an emptiness inside of me that I feel invisible... Everything just feels like it's going so fast like a freight train barreling out of control. I'm not sure when I'll be back in Chicago but, of course, anything for you! Our Darling Charlotte! I do have some pieces with me but they are in Richmond. This poncho is gorgeous! If that coat worked for you, the poncho will be a snap & two full circles! I have tons more to list but that will have to wait for now. I'm still trying to digest everything & have to deal with an emotional roller coaster relationship with a step-mother in Richmond. @misslabelled oh my sweet sweet lady!!!!! I'm so sorry about your Father I lost mine at 8 years old I understand the loss of a Father nothing can ever replace it. I'll pray your peace Paige.I know inlaws are tough and can become even ruthless at death of a love one trying to gain material items and such.I'm so sorry you have to deal with any thing negative.To me you're such a wonderful personTry to look up and gain your strength sweetie.I will want this poncho when you get back

Velvet burnout is a type of fabric where velvet pattern is on a sheer fabric that can be seen through so it looks like the velvet images were burned out of a solid piece of velvet leaving the see through fabric behind
