Vintage Concord 14K solid gold oval case 17 jewel ladies dress watch with box. Concord manufactured an almost identical model of this watch (other than the dial) for Cartier. Watch features a solid 14K gold case, white dial with Roman numeral hour markers, blue jewel tipped cabochon crown and 17 Jewel mechanical movement (manually hand wound). The dial is marked, "Concord" and "Swiss" at the bottom edge. The case back is unmarked on the exterior, but is marked on the interior, "Concord Watch Co., Swiss, 14K 585." The watch case measures approx. 21mm across excluding the crown by approx. 32mm from lug-to-lug. The length of the watch with what appears to be the original strap is approx. 8" (maximum wrist size of approx. 6 1/4"). Watch is in good vintage condition for its age with some imperfections in the plastic crystal (no deep scratches or cracks, somewhat loose) and scuffs/ light scratches to the case. The strap has a Concord buckle (not 14K) and appears to be original. However, the lettering on the backside is worn as are other parts of the strap. The watch is running when wound and keeping accurate time. As with any mechanical watch, it may require service from a watchmaker to continue to do so.
