nschuetz726 Hello! I need to measure my dog to see if this will fit. He is blind and diabetic. Was your dog able to drink from the water bowl while wearing the halo? Since ours is diabetic, he is drinking nonstop! Thank you.

runnergirl53654 @nschuetz726 hi! I am so sorry but someone just bought this. My dog wouldn’t wear the harness. He preferred to find his way around using scent clues. That being said, I think the halo would prevent the dog from drinking water without being started. He definitely could drink water but the halo would bump the bowl and spook him.

nschuetz726 @runnergirl53654 thanks for letting me know! Good feedback and some thing we should keep in mind. Our dog was getting by pretty well using his sense of smell with his limited vision but now that he is completely blind, he is really having a tough time. Walked into the corner of a wall and badly hurt his eyes so we are thinking a halo is the best thing for him!
