Hand Blocked Indian Teal Wrap

A surprising piece, meant for every day wear, but still with some pizzaz— because, come on, this baby is East Indian and less is, well, less. For the region, this is about as minimalist as it gets! A sheer teal field has hand printed paisleys at the edge, along with a stripe around the entire piece. The florals gracefully hold their own, a subtle nod to history and tradition, but aren’t too much. Hand edging and weaving are subtle, and speak to quality. Once a dupatta, this can be a wrap, scarf or shawl, your choice. Dress it up for a night out, dress simply and throw this over on a windy day and let the motion be the center of attention. Its vintage, one of a kind, and truly lovely. It wont let you down. MCM True Vintage, most likely 50’s but could be 60’s. In amazing condition, but still has some patina. I found one pinprick hole, but need to go over it again. Has been washed, but carries with it the scent of perfume. Something musky and sensual.
