💚Hand Carved INCOLAY Treasure Box (Hinged!)

Not sure what this piece is called. I’ve seen it referred to as Venus with Cherubs. I’d call it Happy Mother’s Day. The 8 cherubs and 1 angel have come bearing gifts. A laurel wreath. A bowl of fruit. Two turtle doves. And my favorite is the Crown. The one cherub with wings is holding a Trident so maybe that’s Zeus On the opposite side, one has drawn back his bow. Ok Cupid! Hand carved in America by true craftsmen and women from INCOLAY STONE. VERY HEAVY. Lovely hand. It delights the senses of sight and touch. Interior lined in spotless black velvet.
