Hand Colored Botanical ‘Tulipa des Jardins’

Hand colored in Italy, numbered on back. Notice the engraving of Redoute in lower left corner of the piece. Either Inspired by the original Redoute. Or it could be one of his originals. An appraiser could help determine the heritage of this beautiful pc. The paint used is extraordinarily vivid, and was created on heavy rag paper. See photos for more. There is one area at the top left on the front that is slightly discolored, but not noticeable. I’ve shown this area in one of the photos. A good framer should be able to remedy that. I purchased this from an antique art dealer in 1990. Not sure of age, but this is a gorgeous pc, deserving to be framed and enjoyed. 16” w x 23” high
