If I get to the Post Office on Monday morning before 10:00am, there is an outside chance it could arrive by Christmas. But there is no guarantee…it could arrive after Christmas Day. Hard to say. andreabella417 Vicki, I wanted to let you know that I live on the east coast. If you decide to purchase the Afghan, please let me know by Sunday early afternoon...or earlier (sorry for any pressure). This way I can pack it up and get it ready for shipping and can plan to be at the PO early Monday morning. PO will be crowded so it's important I get there when they open. Then fingers crossed in hopes the blanket will arrive by Christmas Day.

andreabella417 @vicki_simon I will check on Poshmark website for upgraded shipping. Normally it’s for heavier items not faster shipping. I could get 2-day at the PO but would want to speak with you first for approval. Will look on USPS and Poshmark and let you know.

andreabella417 @vicki_simon Vicki, Poshmark website doesn't list anything for faster shipping. I will send an email to Cust Svc. The USPS website states that if mailed by Dec 18, Monday, using 4-day shipping, they guarantee delivery by Christmas. But I wouldn't know the increased postage cost over the prepaid label, if they accept that, until I actually am at the PO. What is your zip code? I can maybe learn a little more about increased cost on the USPS website with your zip code. Thanks.

andreabella417 @vicki_simon Vicki, there is a header on my closet page (which also should appear on yours) stating that shipping with the regular prepaid shipping label is likely to be delayed, and items would arrive after Christmas. I contacted support to see if they are willing to extend the shipping cost to include 4-day shipping from the PO, which guarantees arrival by Christmas. Due to the Holiday rush, Support may not get back to me before Monday.

andreabella417 @vicki_simon If you decided to purchase the Afghan even though it would arrive after Christmas, you could wrap up the photo to your Mom know what is going to arrive. I know how important this is to you and wrapping a photo is a poor substitute for the real thing on the real day. I don't know what else to suggest. andreabella417 @vicki_simon It’s possible but I don’t know what the cost would be. The box will be large and will weigh about 8-10lbs. I would use Poshmark’s prepaid label which is approximately $8. I don’t know how much more it would be. What is your zip code. I can try to use the USPS shipping calculator to get an amount, but I need your zip code for that.

andreabella417 @vicki_simon Thanks Vicki. Poshmark support replied: they don't offer extra shipping money. We have to work this out together. The USPS calculator indicated $10 with 4-day shipping if I bring the box tomorrow, Dec 18 with a guarantee to arrive on time. It might be less than $10 if they apply the cost of the Poshmark shipping label, and you just have to pay the difference. Won't know until I get to the PO window.

andreabella417 @vicki_simon I checked 2-day shipping as you suggested. That would cost $100 or more!! So, the question is: what is the max you want to spend on extra shipping costs? And we have to work out how you will transfer that extra cost to me? If you want me to go to the PO, you'll have to purchase the Afghan today so I get the shipping label right away and can pack it up to get to the PO on time tomorrow. Let me know as soon as you can.
