Hand Painted on Porcelain-Antique Brooch

There are so many versions of this figure on this brooch. I purchased mine in the 70's from David Friedlander, an antique dealer in Louisville Ky. after seeing it in a jewelry book. The simple frame that I believe to be gold plated has a rope design around the mounting. It has an old c clasp which works well. It has 22 impressed in porcelain on the back. It is in great shape. I'm not sure it has ever been out of its box. It has been referred to as a woman, boy, Italian fisherman and gypsy. Definitely old European piece.
