This is one of my favorite creations hand fabricated from sterling silver and incorporating a beautiful Chrysanthemum stone that seems to float freely on an axis. The chain links are hand fabricated and textured with a ball peen hammer. The back of the stone setting is made from patterned sterling silver. Many hours went into this. It's ONE OF A KIND and absolutely fabulous to wear. Actual pendant portion measures 2.5 in. The two long links above the pendant measure 1 7/8 in.

The way the minerals are arranged in the stones resembles a flower which explains the meaning of the name Chrysanthemum Stone. Chrysanthemum Stone is an ornamental stone displaying chrysanthemum-like patterns in a contrasting matrix. Marketed specimens are often highlighted by selective painting of the matrix with a dye to over-emphasise the crystal pattern.
