Hand made and Hand Painted Fabricmache Patriotic Santa Claus

Back in the 1980's an acquaintance of mine and her friend designed and crafted Santa Clauses for a fundraiser. This is one of those Santas. Made from fabricmache and hand painted in a patriotic theme, Santa's pack of goodies is embellished with a silver star or two and Santa holds an American flag. Just a bit of dried wheat-type stalks completes the patriotic heartland vibe. Santa stands 10" tall and 4" wide. Bottom is dated 1988.
