11" x 11" is the size of the bag and the shoulder strap hangs to the hip and next to your booty. This is a hand made and very unique purse. Has one inner pocket. As cute as this is, I took some close ups of the material so you can see what it looks like. This could be a deal breaker for some of you, lol. Nonetheless it's super cute and well made.
