Hand made vintage wedding dress

Long back story for this one! This is quite a beautiful and traditional wedding dress. I was given this wedding dress by an opera company that I used to work for. Although this is not a theater costume either. The story goes that within this particular company as long as you continually worked with them you held onto your costumes. When one of the companies members passed away and the costumes were given back, this wedding dress was found perfectly packaged in a bridal box. Upon trying to return it to the relatives, thinking it was sent by mistake, they told the company to keep it. When the company went out of business they gave it to me as a graduation present. The only information I was told about the dress was that it was a custom-made dress that ran about $10,000 at the time. Since this company was at it's height between the 70s and 90s I can only assume that was when the dress was made and used. From what I can gather it reminds me of a high-end wedding dress from the 90s. Thick wedding dress silk in a traditional ball gown cut with short sleeves and some lace detail around the bust and waist area. It's high quality silk with no cheap looking things stereotypical to the 80s and 90s such as beads, ruffles, or cheap shiny satin or thin low thread silk. It's about an average size 6 or 7 dress. Bust 34-36, Waist 28-30. But looks like it was made for someone short. On someone who is 5'-5'2" it reaches the ground perfectly without heels.
