Hand painted metal disc Clip on Earrings

For your consideration is a vintage matte black metal hand-painted clip-on earring. As you can see from the pictures this is a pair that my grandmother cut the post off to make clip on since she didn't have her ears pierced. No visible signature or hallmarking. I believe they were purchased from a little boutique in Texas in the late '80s.
