Handcrafted Artisan 7" Furnace Art Glass Bracelet with Silver

This Furnace glass bracelet is designed and handcrafted by me. It features Furnace Art Glass Beads (Grade AAA) made by glass blowers using a large furnace like they use for vases and large pieces. The glass is gathered, the air hole is blown into it, it's shaped, rolled in colored stringers and then pulled into a long cane. The cane is cut into smaller lengths that fit in the kiln and annealed. After it's cold, it is cut into beads and cold worked, sawed and sanded. Then it is put back in the kiln to fire polish. These beads were very popular in the 90's for bead work but much harder to find now. These beads convey the artistry, attention to detail, and intricate designs that can be achieved with glass beads. the toggle closure and findings are Silver.
