Hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind amethyst necklace

Purchased from Gallery of Jewels, a now defunct boutique showcasing Bay Area independent jewelry designers and artists. I wish I knew the designer's name. A stunning cascade of amethyst and semi-precious stones, linked together with oxidixed silver chains and circles, purposefully designed into an artful tangle. (The chains are intentionally interwoven; there is no "untangling" them.) Equally perfect with a crisp white cotton shirt and jeans or a more formal summer dress. Also well suited for a gothic or avant-garde look, paired with a draped Rick Owens knit or an architectural piece from Rei Kawakubo, Issey Miyake or Yohji Yamamoto I can't convey how beautifully the purple gemstones catch the light - this necklace truly sparkles in the sun and well-lit rooms. I receive countless compliments whenever I wear it. This is a unique necklace, not mass produced.
