I make necklaces out of agates and charms that I purchase at craft stores. Chains are silver plated, and the length averages about 18". The charm sits right below your collar bone and is attached using e6000 craft glue. Agates are very hard, but can shatter if you bang them against something hard such as furniture or granite. They will be wrapped appropriately for shipping to avoid breakage.
