@swirlygurl Hi. It does actually open to put on. I don't have other colors yet, but am getting ready to start working on more winter items. Do you have any colors in mind? I'm always open to suggestions. This style works up pretty quickly.

@tifjones07 Awesome! I’ve been looking for something like this. I’d love one in black, maybe with a sparkly thread in it. But solid black is fine too. I’ve had problems with one I bought (not handmade) and a button fell off, so I’m worried about that.

@swirlygurl Hi!! You must have known I was thinking about you. I should have two black ones for you to take a look at in the next couple of days. I just need to sew on the buttons. They will look a lot alike but the width is a little different between the two. One is wider than the other. I thought I would post each one in a listing but as not for sale so that you can have first dibs before opening to the general public. Coming very soon....

@swirlygurl Hi!! I have posted two neck warmers. The difference between the two is the length and width. They are slightly different. I have them listed as not for sale right now so that you can have first look. Let me know what you think. If I don't hear anything I will open them to the public on Tuesday. Thank you!! @tifjones07 ok. I have chosen the black one I want. I like the wider one because I live in a very cold place and need it to go further into my coat/sweater. But I love the pattern of the grey one because the stitching is so much closer together. If you only knew how long I’ve looked at this one! I took a screen shot of if and asked my aunt if she could make it, but she only knits and said she couldn’t crochet. I hate to ask, but would you be making this stitch again?

@swirlygurl I might. I'm not sure that I have enough solid black yarn right now, but I might look for some. Or are thinking of a different color? I have some yarn in a royal blue, white, lavender, or gray and white.

@swirlygurl It will take at least a week once I get some yarn. I'm going to look in several stashes to see if I have any at all. Otherwise, I will need to buy some yarn. I am going to defer to you. I am sorry, I should have made at least one of the two new ones with the tighter weave. I had no idea. I would say it will probably be at least two weeks because I will likely need to get yarn. Again, I'm so sorry about the confusion.

@swirlygurl Another question: when you mention black with metallic thread, are you wanting the metallic thread to be silver, gold, or multicolored? There are so many choices...
