Handmade Denim Lapis and Sterling Silver Bead Necklace, 22 Inches This one-of-a-kind handmade necklace is made of Denim Lapis and Sterling Silver. Denim Lapis is a lighter blue variety of Lapis Lazuli due to a high concentration of white calcite. This necklace is 22 inches long and has a Sterling Silver lobster claw clasp. Some people feel that Lapis is a stone of wisdom, intuition, and truth. Condition is new with artist tag. This necklace is delivered in a blue, high quality gift box (5.25 x 3.75) with a silver elastic bow. Artist Statement: Martha has sold her handmade jewelry at the Harvard Museum of Natural History at their gift shop and at various craft stores and shows as EarthStone Jewelry. Her designs are one-of-a-kind and include many minerals as well as fossils and meteorites. Martha has been collecting minerals for most of her life. She went from finding agates on the shores of Lake Superior to collecting specimens from all over the world. She is also a collector of African, New Guinea, and Native American art.
