Handmade Folk Embroidered Blouse

White cotton gauze blouse with traditional smocked neckline with silk tie placket. Sleeves are slightly blouson with smocking at wrist cuffs. Front of blouse features a beautiful embroidered design in shades of cobalt blue, sky blue, red and coral pink. The blouse looks handmade but the embroidery is machine done. There are also motifs of similar design running down the sleeves. No tags or labels but blouse measures flat: 17.5" armpit/pit; 25" sleeve length & 26.5" in length. Beautiful condition, no stains or holes. The elastic at the cuffs is stretched out. There's also a red zig-zag border done on the cuffs and hem of blouse. A small pull is present at hem, (pictured). Overall, it's in great condition for its age.
