Like the Jamaican culture, this 17” handmade cloth dog says it all! 1970s era bright cotton fabrics used. Machine & hand stitching throughout. Stiff body with bloomer underwear & apron, real shell earrings and fruit basket on head make this cultural doll scream JAMAICA. As made, purchased by my dad in the 1970s. Stored in doll case for years! Hand painted face, real handmade basket weaved of thatch. Fruit made of stuffed fabric. Loose strings and frays on dress are part of theme. Squeaky clean!
