Handmade Jewelry. Textured Fused Dichroic Glass Pendant. Pastel Rainbow Radium. This pendant has great pastel color and texture. Made with full layers of textured radium and ripple dichroic on a black base. Beautiful pastel shades of pink, blue, gold and light green. The glass cabochon measures 47 x 23mm. Total length with bail 55mm. Finished with a silver-plated bail hung on 3 strands of 2 mm. black satin cord with matching hook and eye clasp. Please specify desired length of cord in notes. This piece was entirely hand crafted by me in my home studio! The glass cabochons are made by cutting and carefully layering dichroic glass bits, then placed in a kiln and fired, with more dichroic being added and re-fired multiple times for incredible depth and color play....(unless a special technique or otherwise described ). When I’m happy with the piece it is then shaped with lapidary equipment, then placed back in the kiln to polish the edge and anneal the piece for extra strength. Signed Patricia L Johnson.
